Obituary of Irene M Cronin

Irene Marie Cronin a.k.a. "Renie" a.k.a. "Fern", Age 77, of Franklin Square, NY, passed away on April 5th 2022 at home, surrounded by her family Funeral service will be held at Saint Catherine of Sienna RC church on Monday, April 11 2022 at 9:30 a.m. with Friar Kevin Cronin O.F.M. officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Rood cemetery in Westbury. Visitation will be held at Krauss funeral home on Sunday April 10th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.. Irene Marie Mortara was born in Richmond hill to Aldo and Elsie on May 5th 1944. She went to high school at H. Frank Carey high school and graduated in 1962. She went on to earn a degree in nursing from Nassau community college. She worked as a Registered nurse at Hempstead general hospital for 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her numerous furry pets. She regularly donated towards Breast cancer awareness as well as the ASPCA and St. Judes children's hospital. Irene is survived by her husband John, as well as her children Michael, Peter, David , Allison and there assorted partners, as well as, her grandson Jake. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks for all of the kindness extended towards them at this time of grief.
