Schella Cazeau Vilme affectionally known to her family as “Sheshe”, was born on June 26, 1967, in Jacmel, Haiti to Jean Delisma Cazeau and Marie Enice Cazeau. She was born to Schella Cazeau Vilme Obituary & Celebration of Life Information parents who loved and served the Lord. Schella has five sisters and 2 brothers (Margareth, Monette, Serge, Myrlene, Marie, Jean, and Neicy). In 1971, the Cazeau family migrated to the United States of America and settled in Brooklyn, New York. Schella was an incredible woman of faith who loved God and her family deeply. As a young child, she was in the children’s choir and a member of Melodie Celeste, a worship group with her siblings and friends. She was active in youth ministries and served God with her spiritual gifts. Schella’s favorite Bible verse was Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Schella began her educational journey as a kindergartner in Brooklyn and later moved to Queens where she graduated from Andrew Jackson High School. Schella would go on to Hunter College and graduate in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Schella devoted her career to serving children with special needs. Her passion for ensuring the highest level of care and support for all children extended beyond normal professional responsibilities. On August 9, 1997, Schella married her true love, Frantz Vilme in Queens, New York. Schella and Frantz have three children Steven, Monique, and Michael, whom she loved with all her heart. She was a loving, devoted, dedicated, and amazing mother to all her children. Her children were her pride and joy. Schella loved to shop, was very creative and organized, had a wicked sense of humor, strong loyalty to her family, was extremely generous, and exceptionally insightful. Lovingly surrounded by her family, Schella went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 27, 2022. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, witty comments and sense of humor, deep love for her family, incredible strength of character, joy in the midst of her journey with cancer, incomparable resilience, and strong faith in God. Schella was preceded in death by her dad, Jean Delisma Cazeau. Schella leaves behind her mom, Marie Enice Cazeau; husband, Frantz Vilme; children, Steven, Monique, and Michael; siblings, Maggie, Monette (Martin), Serge, Myrlene (Sandler), Marie (Pascal), Jean (Francine), and Neicy (Rob); sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carmy (Jackie), Jeannette (Bernard), Mathilde (Reginald), Michaelle (Raynald); nieces, nephews, and many other much loved relatives and friends
