Celebrating the life of Rose Lina Bobo November 2,1928 to January 16, 2022Rose Lina was born on November 2nd 1928 in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to Anita Desvarieux and Linė Arnoux. She was the youngest of their two daughters, the oldest named Henriette Arnoux. Lina went to Sacred Heart Catholic School and became a nurse from the nursing school in Port-au-Prince. She then specialized in public health and was the head nurse of a clinic. She retired in 1981 to take care of her husband Jean Baptiste who preceded her in death. Jean Baptiste and Lina married in 1955. Of their union, the first born is Hegel, then Manon, Georges and lastly Nadege. She immigrated to the United States in 1987 to join her sons already living in New York. She soon moved in with daughter Nadege and Grandson Jonathan and was with them for more than 20 years until her death. Lina enjoyed life. She was a very happy person that liked seeing and being around different people. She loved being out and about and walking and strolling around the various venues near and far from home. She had a strong personality and always liked to have things her way, which turned out for the best most of the time. She transferred her value for life to her children and made of them strong men and women. She liked reading and was well informed of current events and loved to have discussions in spite of any language barriers. She always had a smile and was a very appealing person and gave all a reason to remember her. She leaves behind to celebrate her life: Hegel and Beverly Bobo, Georges and Carline Bobo, Manon Bobo and Nadege Anglade. She also leaves behind five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and many cousins and cherishedfriends. The family of Lina Bobo wish to thank all and acknowledge your sincere condolences.
