Renate Ericka Rechsteiner (nee Mueller) was born on May 20, 1949 in Hassel, Germany to her mother Ruth Mueller (nee Angerstein) and father Erwin (Fritz) Mueller. Renate passed away on July 22, 2021 after fighting a formidable battle with pancreatic cancer. Renate is predeceased by her loving husband Gunther Rechsteiner. She is survived by her sons Thomas and Eric, daughter in-law Kelly, her cherished grandchildren, Keira and Noah, as well as her devoted companion Bob Hauer. Renate loved to travel, going to the cinema and enjoying a laugh with friends and family. When Renate wasn’t off traveling, she split her time between Key West, FL and Long Island, NY. She will be deeply missed by many.
