David R. Abbate, 74, passed away on February 5th. Dave was a devoted Dad to Benjamin and Step-Dad to Emanuel and Jason. He lived in Elmont for nearly his whole life and leaves behind many quality friendships. He was a retired buyer and worked in the retail industry for many years. Dave was a Vietnam War Veteran. He also enjoyed going to Jones Beach, cooking, family parties, and his yearly trips to Las Vegas. He was generous, enthusiastic, thoughtful, reliable and always put others first. He will be forever in our hearts.
