It’s with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our most beloved, Arlene B. Lyons on October 9, 2020. Arlene was born on August 6, 1948 in Cranberry, West Virginia to John and Elizabeth Linsky. She was predeceased in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Barnhouse, Elveria Faw, JoAnn Griffith, Jane Adkins and brother, Jack Linsky. Those left to cherish precious memories are her beloved husband, Dennis of 36 years, and their children Dennis and Laura; sisters Margaret Kosco, Helen Riffe, Nancy Lamb and Janet(Larry) Hodges, sister-in-law Gerry D’Andrea and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Arlene moved from West Virginia to New York City at the age of 18. She was gainfully employed with Con Edison for 30 years. She was a member of the Franklin Square Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Arlene was the most elegant, generous, exquisite, loving person to everyone she met. May her precious soul rest in peace.
A funeral mass will be held on October 13th at Saint Catherine of Sienna Church at 10:30 am.
